Yes, this seems to a reoccurring issue as the solar industry begins to mature.

Installers are reluctant to do this type of work, because it means taking legal responsibility for others work going forward.

Additionally, Installers are required by the RECC to ensure roof covering are in good enough condition before the installation, that no roof work is required for at least twenty years.
