Every generation has its own threat

The cold war is heating up again, yet we must view these geopolitical tussles like children squabbling as a much larger danger creeps towards its next child-sized meal.

The enemy is self-deception.

The enemy is self-deception.

Past civilisations knew the threats they faced. This danger was usually men on horses with swords, and so spent vast amounts of their resources to combat that. Today all nations, united or not, have a common enemy that is the unintended consequences of our industrialisation. (more…)

“What we consider as impossible to us are simply engineering problems to those who seek power.”

Your independence is slipping away through ignorance and lies.

Your independence is slipping away through ignorance and lies.

Our success in building the internet has distracted us from the building of our future.

I used to think the internet was an excellent tool for greater freedoms. Now I believe it is a controlling tool and become a shackle for your mind.

A distracted mind is an imprisoned mind, all the while your civil rights, your employment rights and even your right to justice have disappeared in the ten short years you have been gawping at your iPhone. (more…)

The human herd

“Individualism is an illusion. We all believe it, but as our Prime Minister David Cameron has now as demonstrated, the yearning to fit into the group will have you carrying out the most unusual of acts.”

Prime Ministerial Legacy - They will generate their own power when pigs fly says David Cameron.

Prime Ministerial Legacy - They will generate their own power when pigs fly says David Cameron.

If I have learned anything from my time on this Earth, it’s that people will do the dumbest of things to fit into and impress the human herd.

The great ‘switch your energy supplier‘ game is a simple trick used to give ‘the herd’ an illusion of choice. Moving you from field to field doesn’t allow you to escape the farm that imprisons you. They lock you into a lifetime of unnecessary expense and keep you suckling at the teet of foreign-owned energy suppliers. (more…)

I’ve found the holy grail

“Thousands of years of searching, but today I can finally solve this mystery.”

I used to take the standard vitamins and iron supplements religiously, but I still felt like I needed two large cups of coffee in the mornings while still feeling fuzzy headed mid-morning. Today, I can do my exercises BEFORE my morning coffee, and my mind feels sharper.

I used to take the standard vitamins and iron supplements religiously, but I still felt like I needed two large cups of coffee in the mornings while still feeling fuzzy headed mid-morning. Today my mind feels sharper.

The holy grail is purported to be a vessel once containing the blood of Jesus. This tale was fabricated by the early Church to help convert pagans to Christianity. Most of the Christian customs actually originate from pagan backgrounds.

In fact, the actual ‘Holy Grail’ has nothing to do with a cup. The story was taken from thousands of years of oral-based stories from travellers who once encountered people on their Silk Road travel, living much longer and healthier lives than we did in Europe during those times. (more…)

Earth’s magnetic changes and solar energy

“Strange sounds, atmospheric compression waves and magnetic anomalies reported around the world, could mean we may be the first humans to witness a magnetic pole flip.”

ESA's geomagnetic satellite monitoring system.

ESA's geomagnetic satellite monitoring system.

It’s no secret that the Earth’s magnetic poles flip from North to South and back again every 786,000 years, but what is a mystery is that governments around the world are genuinely concerned that our planet is showing signs of flipping as soon as this century.

What’s the most alarming is the strange sounds trumpeted around the world that some people have compared to the trumpets of the Archangel Gabriel from Revelations in the Bible – I digress. (more…)

In the desire to be middle class, have we forgotten our roots

“Keeping up with the neighbours has been the driving force for our economy since the 1950s and has begun to drive the desire for solar panels today.”

Appearing to be middle class.

Appearing to be middle class.

Although this social-climbing can help drive the uptake of alternative technologies going forward, unfortunately, this desire to be accepted as an equal among the German car clad driveways of Britain has tainted our society’s ability to empathise.

As a forty-something growing up in the 1970s, the desire of my parents to be middle classed was always overshadowed by the hope to survive the economic problems of those times.

Today, I hear people who should know better, now condemning the victims of our current economic woes and this has awoken me to the mass hate-filled indoctrination being spewed out by interwoven media and politics. (more…)

Your stuff owns you

“In just 60 years, capitalism has nearly broken planet earth.”

For those that find life to be too hard, then the modern world usually prescribes lobotomising psychoactive drugs. And, if we’re honest, the rest of us just go shopping.

Who owns who?

Who owns who?

George Carlin famously joked, “Everyone’s gotta have a place for their stuff. That’s all your house is, a place to keep your collection of stuff. A box with a lid on it so you can secure your stuff while you go out and get more stuff. Sometimes you’ve got a move and get a bigger house because you got too much stuff.

Sometimes, you go on holiday, and you have to take some of your stuff, not all your stuff, just the things you like. You’re just making a smaller, more condensed version of all your stuff.

Two weeks in paradise and you have to take two big bags of your stuff, so when you finally get to your hotel room, you breathe a sigh of relief that both your stuff has safely made it across the ocean. (more…)

Babies in debt – Time for a reset

“When I was seventeen, I contributed to the non-compliance movement which prevented the very unfair Poll Tax from becoming a burden on families today. Today’s youth will soon be fighting a system that will burden their future family lives too.”

Welcome to planet Earth.

Welcome to planet Earth.

Student debt is one thing, but unborn babies now saddled with debt have crossed a moral line.

Austerity – the policy of saving your way out of a demand shortfall – just does not work. In a shrinking economy, a country’s debt-to-GDP ratio rises rather than falls, and Europe’s recession-ridden crisis country have now saved themselves into a depression, resulting in mass unemployment, alarming levels of poverty and scant hope for the young.

The Greek and Spanish people this week, acted upon this fact. Expect many other countries to say “NO more babies in debt – time for a reset” too.

Don’t bank on keeping your pension fund

“If the banking crisis of 2008 taught us anything, it’s that, if you can’t touch it, then you don’t own it! Unfortunately for us, there’s been a resource and asset war occurring since the fall of the Soviet Union.”

We don't need you anymore!

We don't need you anymore!

Your pension is nothing more than electrons on a screen, so when the world’s reserve currency inevitably flips from the ‘Dollar’ to the ‘Yuan’, it will seal the deal for a cold war that never actually went away.

Sadly, pensions are linked to stock market activity and most importantly for this article – oil! The current slide of oil prices and thus energy prices are symptoms of an economic war as a result of Ukraine. Unfortunately, Russia has two aces up its sleeve. China and the 21st-century powerhouse called BRICS. Over half of the largest world economies are divesting out of the US Dollar’s reserve currency. (more…)

Kermit was wrong – it is easy being green

“When Thomas Edison first invented a way to record sound waves, people at that time couldn’t comprehend the concept of recording sound. Today, we can’t comprehend a green orientated government, but it’s coming as sure as an iPod player exists today.”

You can't solve new world problems with old age politics.

You can't solve new world problems with old age politics.

As much as the establishment want to dismiss Russels Brand’s recent rants of revolution, he is in-tune with the up and coming generation. Today, revolution doesn’t have to include police kettling, placards or firebombing of yesteryear. It simply involves turning your back on 20th-century politics.

Green party membership has doubled in only one political term. You can probably blame David Cameron for hugging huskies for that, but now you’ll see the Moore’s Law taking effect on green politics. Fortunately, people are increasingly turning their backs on mainstream red/blue policies across the world that have nothing new to offer, other than more of the same? (more…)
