Homage to our Planet Earth

Thursday, December 8th, 2011

I doff my cap to the BBC’s stunning series called ‘Frozen Planet’ (Catch up on Iplayer) which has captured the extreme frozen poles in a fantastic deluge of picture-perfect realism and told it like it is, approach.

The thin slither of gas which encompasses the giant rock we call home while poisoned slowly, and the symptoms of fever like a state are beginning to emerge. Just like our immune system, the earth is starting to fight back through heat generation. (more…)

Don’t dilly dally with solar panels

Friday, November 18th, 2011

Some of you may have heard from the national media recently how the PV solar panels incentive scheme, also known as the feed-in tariffs, are to be reduced to new applicants on December 12th this year after a swift decision doing this by the coalition government.

There's nothing more powerful than when a PV's time has come.

There’s nothing more powerful than when PV’s time has come.

So as the title of this article says “don’t dilly-dally if you want to receive the maximum rate of tariff!”

What is reported, however, are the reasons why the feed-in tariff rate now reduced earlier than planned. The original purpose of the scheme was to help the solar industry grow organically over the years and to reward pioneering homeowners for installing such technology.

The problem came when too many solar companies took advantage of this scheme by giving some eligible homeowners their installations for free, with the solar company reaping in the tariff rewards.

This loophole in the legislation should close as soon as it became apparent what was happening, but unfortunately, this didn’t occur, and the feeding frenzy by free solar panel companies began.

Fit and forget with PV solar panels

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

With the PV (photovoltaic) solar panel industry now fretting over the latest government changes to the feed-in tariffs, we explain why solar panels will continue to be a part of everyday life, even here in Britain.

We have all seen solar panel installations appearing on homes over the last couple of years. The decision to buy by the owners of about 50% of those solar installations had been helped by the first feed-in tariff scheme introduced in 2010.

Contrary to popular belief, the decision to buy has not been spoiled by ‘generous’ companies giving away ‘free’ solar panels but has been helped by fear of escalating energy prices in the future. (more…)

Fixing the global warming problem is as easy as 1-2-3!

Much pain, but still time. Believe there is good out there. We oppose deception. Conduit closing.

Much pain, but still time. Believe there is good out there. We oppose deception. Conduit closing.

With dieting, the solution to the problem is as comfortable as “less food, more exercise”, but dieting books and diet plans would like you to believe that it is more complicated than that!

With the global warming problem; less industry, more nature!

Let us avoid another 30 years of pretending to fix the problem with bad ideas. Global leaders have to come together and pledge to adopt this simple solution. Jobs shed from industry can be transferred over to mammoth ecological projects. (more…)

Own your PV solar panels

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

If you have had PV solar panels (photovoltaic) installed in your home over the last 12 months, then the answer to this question is probably no!

There's nothing more powerful than when a PV's time has come.

There’s nothing more powerful than when PV’s time has come.

If you do buy your PV solar system, then well done, you will be rewarded generously for your purchase over the coming years. However, if you are one of the thousands of people who have another company’s equipment, i.e. free panels, on your roof, then sadly you will not receive benefits as generous.

The industrial-scale feeding frenzy, which has given rise to some companies who offer free solar panels, has brought the feed-in tariffs scheme to a conclusion earlier than planned. (more…)

An new age of energy is unfolding

Five years ago it would have been ridiculous to think of America has a black President.

Two years ago, the Arab uprising was not happening. Dictators ruled the Middle East without fear.
One year ago the Liberal Democrats came to power. (more…)
