I can pinpoint the exact moment in time when health issues associated with modern living began and its wholly associated with electricity generation.
In 1882 Thomas Edison helped construct the first power station in New York, and the modern era began.
Human beings went from burning wood to electricity for illumination and heating.
Within a few short decades, a long-held tradition of using ‘wood ash’ to fertilise crops was extinguished and the 90 essential nutrients that growing food with ‘nutrient rich’ wood ash was lost forever. Read the rest of this entry »

Since its inception, the feed-in tariff scheme has seen over 750,000 homes install PV solar panels, but in another extraordinary twist to the story; contracts are now being purchased like Pokemon trading cards.
UPDATE: The MCS accreditation body wants solar-owners report companies that trade in such contracts.
Are solar buyback schemes a good thing?
Beneficial or not?
One proud solar-owner told me he’d been contacted by such a company who wanted to buy his feed-in tariff contract for a measly couple of grand under what they called a ‘Solar buyback’ scheme!
This ‘lucky’ PV owner was offered the option of cashing in on his FIT with a tax-free lump sum.
I mused that “like the infamous ‘payday loans’ and ‘unlock your home’s equity’ schemes, you would have to be either desperate or ignorant to accept such an offer. Read the rest of this entry »

Twelve years of shouting from the rooftops about solar panels have seen tears of joy, sadness and quite frankly, I have put my life on the line in this good fight.
Fighting for a solar-powered world.
Because a solar-powered civilisation is not only achievable; it’s necessary!
Today, we have secretive, global-wide geoengineering occuring because of forty years of deception to simply keep you blindly shopping.
And like national debt today, the ecological problems get kicked further down the road for later generations to deal with – we are that generation! Read the rest of this entry »

For those that don’t remember a time before the internet, then you will never understand the hold that ‘the newspapers’ had over normal people. How they think, how they buy and how they vote.
Are you sure your views are your own?
Want to know the real reason Britain is now out of the EU?
The bare naked ugly truth is in Rupert Murdoch’s own words:
“When I go to Downing Street, they do what I say; when I go to Brussels they take no notice!
And there’s the crux! Read the rest of this entry »

Nobody can tell you who’ll be Prime Minister in thirty years time, but what is certain; is that solar panels, will still be contributing to your family’s future – Ma’am.
A time for leadership from our royal leader.
With this kind of longevity, they can help your family ride out any political upheavals.
People are arguing that there is not much sun in the UK – think twice. For the first time, the UK’s solar panels generated more electricity than was produced from coal.
With advancements in photovoltaics today, the realistic prospect of such technologies producing 95% of their generating capacity after 20 years is now proven. Read the rest of this entry »

We British are being divided and conquered!
The EU referendum is not what it seems!
US corporations have gone to war on the EU that has protected us from ‘profit before people’ ethics and especially the US pharmaceutical, health care, energy and food industries.
Pepsi Cola has finally bowed down to consumer pressure and is removing Aspartame from its ingredients. A small victory for common sense, a victory for people’s health. Read the rest of this entry »

One of the joys of owning PV solar panels (photovoltaic), is that you can sit comfortably in the knowledge that your family is protected despite an energy industry that has no outlook farther than next year’s profits.
Should I upgrade my existing PV solar panel system?
So you’re sitting comfortably with your newly installed photovoltaic array, then an unknown company comes along and offers you an upgrade. An upgrade to enhance your PV performance and squeeze a little more juice out of it.
Is this worth the extra expense?
Recently I was asked if it’s worth upgrading an existing PV solar panel system to a Solar Edge inverter with voltage optimisers system for £4,000 – no this is nuts!
The reality is that all good quality inverters cost around the same apart from Solar Edge and Enphase that are individual micro inverters designed to optimise each panel’s output individually. Read the rest of this entry »

The reason politicians pander their policies to appease the baby boomer generation is that rebelled and changed the political landscape when they were young.
Corporate coffee suddenly tastes foul.
Nowadays, those same baby boomers are marching on-mass to vote, and the young need to do the same to ‘create a new cultural revolution’ that will begin to put the many modern day wrongs – right again.
Promoting solar panels and powering electric vehicles using PV technology, is my personal response to a system that only views us as people to be milked. Read the rest of this entry »

The trillions of gallons of water used in the fracking process over the next decades will never be safe to be used within the planets cycle of life again!
The next generation will pay dearly for fracking.
Once you’ve got your head around that, the real victims of fracking are the people who ‘lease’ land or take the Queen’s shilling.
They sell this fantastic ‘leasing opportunity’ as safe and clean. They tell you it will create local jobs, but the local jobs are as fictional as the safety reassurances. Zero hours contracted security guards at best with the specialised positions imported cheaply. Read the rest of this entry »

Logic dictates that a privatised energy industry doesn’t want people heating and powering their homes without them profiting from it. Today, this has a huge stranglehold on disposable incomes.
Just smart enough to run the machines and pay the bills.
Welcome to a brave new world I call ‘alternative energy economics’.
A healthy and fluid economy can only come from significantly reducing household demand from the burden of today’s costly energy markets.
Nothing economically has changed since 2008. We’re back to square one, and some would argue in a worse position than before. Strangling the economy with austerity and quantitative easing is like building a financial dam and wondering why the river no longer supports wide-ranging ecology further downstream.
