Don’t dilly dally with solar panels

You may have heard about the export generation incentive also known as a feed-in tariff. Don’t dilly-dally if you want to end expensive energy consumption. The original intent of the export tariff was to reward pioneer solar adopters. However, some solar companies took advantage of this scheme by offering homeowners free solar panels.

We don’t recommend this, because the installing company gains the tariff incentive. This loophole in the legislation will soon close.

The feed-in tariff will be protected for homeowners to purchase solar panels, as was originally intended. This move will help the solar industry grow organically and sustainably – long-term. A move that will help more people reap the rewards themselves.

The benefits of installing solar panels going back to homeowners, rather than city investors. The additional benefits including saving on energy cost, road mileage with an electric vehicle, and remuneration payments from your surplus. A perk to install solar panels is the increase in property value and the extra sale-ability of your home – maybe. Those who opted for free solar panels will have problems selling their home.

Today’s 5.44p per kWh export generation tariff will see a new dawn for the savviest amongst us. Simply, solar panels enable people to reduce dependence and opt for energy independence. Feel the satisfaction when energy price rises are announced and your sitting-pretty with PV.

We paid our deposit to the Green Energy Company on Sept 1st. We didn’t get our system and now I don’t think we are going to get our deposit back.

A better way.
