The internet and solar panels

What do solar panels and The Internet have in common? Greed got in the way of a PV solar boom! People rush to invest in a new exciting, technology with only one thing in mind, financial gain.

Just like Bitcoin today. Floods of people joining the next big thing are the madness-of-crowds. A fledgling internet saw inflated return-on-investments.

Just like the early internet, was like the fledgling solar panels industry that went boom and bust too.

People are always looking for the next big investment opportunity, so it’s not surprising that new technologies get bloated and bubble-up.

The child of capitalism, “The internet”, has gone from strength-to-strength, as will solar panel adoption.

Just like the internet, the need for solar panels won’t go away. The need to reduce dependence on expensive traditional energy sources is required in the 21st-century.

The solar panel industry is going through a phase of dusting itself down and readjusting after the feed-in tariff incentive was unlawfully revoked in 2012.

The problem being the mismanagement of the feed-in tariff scheme by overseers, who didn’t reduce the tariff levels inline with general installation costs. This caused a flood of free solar panel companies that took advantage of people.

As a result, the solar industry suffered from poor publicity caused by the resulting court cases, all widely publicised throughout the media! However, just like The Internet, the benefits come from solar panels long-term use.

Just like the dot com boom, many companies will disappear, but good companies will continue to grow as the broader public, begin to realise PV solar technology’s benefits. This is because energy prices will continue to rise, as will the need to insulate from them.

Financial gain will once again drive solar panels into the future, as The Internet did first.

A better way.

"I've witnessed many fantastic changes, innovations, and installation companies come and go. My fellowship with ethically-minded MCS solar panel installers goes back decades. Today, I offer my experience to ensure you gain independence from this crazy world."
